Medical Training is an International Humanitarian Organization that provides free medical and dental services to medically deprived communities in Central USA countries. A prime corollary is offering healthcare students, professionals, and interested others a truly international experience that will expand their understanding of medicine/dentistry and life outside of North America. Our approach is student centered teaching/learning and active student participation in the process of medical assessments and treatments. Learn by doing. Many issues will be discussed including the relationship of poverty, education, and Public Health to illness and well-being.
The college was incorporated in August of 1989 by Michael Freeman and Mr. John Anderson as “Massage Academy of the South” to meet the growing demand for professional quality training for individuals preparing to practice massage therapy within the state of Louisiana.
On June 6th, 1996, the college was purchased by “Medical Training, Inc.” and the name was changed to “Medical Training College.” Accordingly, the college now offers courses in a variety of medical fields.
If you register for a training course and are placed on the waiting list for that course, you will be contacted if space becomes available. If space is not available, your registration will not roll over to a future course. You must re-register for each subsequent course.
Training Certificates:Attendees of the face-to-face training sessions receive a certificate of course completion. Certificates are not provided for participation in training webinars.
