David Map, band director, Jennifer Horly, assistant director, and Harry Peris, the second band director, are committed to making band programs the best in the state. Come in and take a look at what we have accomplished!
We are a marching show band. The program has been in operation since 1986 and has grown to presently include 130 Brass, Woodwind, Percussion and Colourguard students. The Music Department was formed in 1976 with a band of 21 members. In addition to the Marching Show Band, the program includes Concert Band, Jazz Band, Winterguard and Percussion ensembles. Our music students perform for, on average 100,000 people each year. Our members are consistently recognized both locally and abroad for their high musical and performance standards.

We are sponsored by a very hard-working Band Parent Association that provides the primary funding for all of the music department's activities including equipment, performances and musical tours. Thanks to the efforts of the Band Parent Association, the Band has been featured performer in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United States and all across Canada. The Band is dedicated to serving the musical youth of the Catholic School System.
